like a beacon

On Park Avenue shining like a beacon in colours that remind me of the Empire State Building is the Helmsley Building. But I can’t find any information about whether or not the colours mean anything other than that the lights were used to commemorate the building reducing their energy consumption by 70%. It sure makes Midtown pretty though.
