first day of rest

It’s Christopher Columbus Day. The day that is not really a public holiday but the kids don’t have to go to school. And neither did I. Just roaming the streets wondering if I should have put more effort and imagination into thinking of how I could invest my wealth so that I did not have to succumb to societal pressures for a 9-5 job. It’s that feeling of being torn by doing something that is challenging, exciting and stable and yet yearning for freedom and adventure.
