The big news for today is that Singapore has topped the list as the most expensive city to live in. With Sydney and Melbourne not too far away. In fact New York does not even feature on the top ten list. In order to read the whole report you’ll have to shell out $995 though. What concerns me most is whether the prices necessarily equate to equal products. A loaf of bread in one store can vary from the loaf of bread in the store down the road let alone the store in the country across the ocean. I am really curious to read this report.
Currently the South East corner of Central Park is home to Olaf Breuning’s child-like Clouds in the sky sculpture. They add a much needed dash of brightness to the gloom of winter.
