waiting in line

When you come to NY you have to get used to standing in line. There is currently an exhibit at MoMa which is ending on Sunday that I would love to go. It’s called the Rain Room, and the line for it has gotten quite ridiculous. I walk by on my way to work at around 7:30 am, and the line stretches the block between 5th and 6th Ave quite easily. Someone from work went recently and I asked about the wait and he said “not long” and when I pushed further he said “only an hour and a half”. For me, that is a long wait. Clearly not as long as some of the other waits I have heard about, but it is still ridiculous. But it’s all about how one’s perception of a “long line” changes.
