There’s something interesting about Grand Central, with all those people traveling through. All those people waiting. When you travel long-distance it’s more like waiting to board a plane. You get to wait until they tell you which platform to board, and then you get to funnel through this tunnel until you board the train, and sit on whichever seat that you want. It’s quite chaotic.
This year Grand Central turns 100, and to celebrate this year they had a “Centennial parade of trains”, which allowed people to walk on through some vintage trains. It made me want to get on a train and travel across the country.
