There is a concept here known as NY time – the difference between the time you set a meeting for and the time that they turn up to said meeting. It’s funny because they all walk so fast, you’d think they’re actually trying to get somewhere on time. But New Yorkers are most likely to turn up to for any proposed meeting time just that little bit late. I am the kind of person who usually turns up early to meetings because I have already factored in travel time and uncertainty into the plan. But New Yorkers, not only know their plan has failed, but they don’t readjust to account for this. It drives me up the wall!
