It’s funny how calling something special never fails to cause me to giggle a little.
Decided to visit Casa Lever after work tonight for a drink. Lever House is a pretty interesting building on Park Avenue, so if you’re in New York you should have a close look at it. It’s quite a beautiful building and the courtyard and the way the internal and external garden has been laid out are really spectacular. And every time I walk by this little outdoor bar is always packed. I had to find out why. It’s partially obscured by a giant rat statue. Their specialty drink is the Moscow Mule, and a guy at a nearby table gave us one of his spare drinks to try. I liked that it came in it’s own special cup, but that’s where the liking ended. The Vivaldi, raspberry puree and Prosecco, though was beautiful. It was sweet, tart and bubbly. What more could one ask for on a Friday night?
