I have given up on finding the perfect beef noodle soup, but there are some things I have definitely been able to replace in NY. And that is the braised pork belly with egg dish. It’s my “tastes like home” dish. I haven’t met a pork belly that I haven’t loved, so maybe I’m just a little less picky where it is concerned. Is it possible to even screw it up? My mission next week will be to find and cook a pork belly dish.
